Danna McKitrick, P.C. has announced that Lauren L. Wood has joined the firm’s litigation practice as an associate attorney. Wood primarily focuses on civil litigation and insurance-related litigation for her clients. Wood is an experienced litigator in personal injury defense and other types of civil litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels.

Wood earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2005. While in law school, she served as Notes and Comments Editor on The Saint Louis University Public Law Review. She also served as a judicial clerkship intern for Judge George Draper, III, Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2001 with a B.A. in art history and archaeology.

Wood previously volunteered for several years as a mentor with the Saint Louis County Family Court Mentor Program. She also volunteers with Great Rivers Environmental Law Center.
